Monk And A Prayer

26 March 2017

The last time North Carolina faced Kentucky, the Tar Heels had no answer for the Wildcats' star freshman, Malik Monk. In the December matchup in Las Vegas, Monk put up an eye-popping 47 points, including eight three-pointers, while leading the Wildcats to a 103-100 victory. Roy Williams will have to come up with a way for the Tar Heels' defense to slow down Monk this evening if North Carolina wants to even the score in the South Regional.
