MLB Spring Training Picks

Aaron Judge and the Yankees entered into arbitration on Tuesday, but the slugging outfielder is still hopeful both sides can reach an agreement on a long-term deal before regular season opens on April 7. In the meantime, Judge and the Yankees continue to tune up in the Grapefruit League with another spring game slated for today against the Tigers. First pitch is 1:05 pm at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Judge is hitting just .143 so far following last night’s 1-for-3 effort against the Orioles. But the Yankees cruised to a 7-1 win over the Birds to run their spring record to 2-3. The Tigers had the all-too-familiar spring tie (their second of the season) yesterday, 6-6, against the Phillies. A.J. Hinch’s club remained stuck at 1-3 out of the gate.
