MLB Spring Training Picks

The Boston Red Sox went 92-70 last year and made the postseason, but were not content to sit still. The Bosox bolstered their lineup yesterday when they agreed to a six-year contract with All-Star SS Trevor Story. The move gives Boston a wealth of riches at shortstop where they already have seven-year starter Xander Bogaerts.

The Red Sox will begin figuring out that situation today as they continue their Grapefruit League schedule against the Atlanta Braves. First pitch is 1:05 pm ET at JetBlue Park at Fenway South.

Boston has been perfect so far in spring training, running its record to 4-0 following yesterday’s 3-2 win over Baltimore. The Braves (2-0) also have an unblemished spring mark after yesterday’s 5-1 win over Philadelphia.
