MLB Spring Training Picks

The Minnesota Twins shook up the free agent market yesterday when they landed prized shortstop Carlos Correa with a three-year deal worth a reported $105.3 million. After finishing last in the AL Central with a 73-89 record in 2021, the Twins firmly have their sights set on getting back to the postseason.

Minnesota will continue tuning up for the regular season with a Grapefruit League contest today against the Tampa Bay Rays. First pitch is 1:05 pm ET at CenturyLink Sports Complex.

The Twins are still looking for their first spring training win after falling to 0-3 after yesterday’s loss to Boston. The Rays (0-1) played the Braves yesterday and finished in a 4-4 tie.
