Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview/Prop Pick
06 February 2022

The Milwaukee Bucks are doing everything that they can to take over the Eastern Conference.
Currently, they're ranked third, with a record of 33-21. They aren't far back from the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls, though. A few more wins, and they'll be in the driver's seat of the conference.
On February 6th, they face off against the bruised and battered Los Angeles Clippers in LA.
The Clippers are coming off of a narrow 111-110 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. They'll go from facing the Lakers to facing one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are still listed as out for this game. Considering they're down so many players, this will be a tough test for the Clippers. So, who should you put your money on tonight?
Milwaukee Bucks: Giannis continues to dominate the NBA
The Bucks are in a great position since they're heating up at the perfect time. They're the sixth-highest scoring team in the NBA, averaging 112.22 points per game.
They're also coming off of a huge 137-108 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. The Bucks are led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is one of the leagues leading scorers. Their defense isn't bad either.
With a strong mix of offense and defense, the Bucks look poised to win this one. Keep in mind all the injuries to the Clippers lineup. Over their last ten games against the Clippers, the Bucks are 6-4, a pretty impressive record.
However, their record against the spread this season is absolutely atrocious. With an ATS record of 24-30, can you trust the Milwaukee Bucks to cover?
Los Angeles Clippers: What can the Clippers do to win?
This will likely go down as one of the Clippers' toughest matchups of the year. If Los Angeles was at full strength, it could be a different story.
However, Paul George being out means you lose a great scorer; Leonard out means you lose defense. There's no easy way for the Clippers to walk away with this one. They have a 16-12 record at home, and we think it's about to change.
What the Clippers have done well is cover the spread lately. Over their last ten games, the Clippers are 7-3 against the spread. However, when playing at home this season, the Clippers have gone 12-16 against the spread.
They're also one of the best shooting teams from beyond the arc, shooting 35.93%. If they want to win, they'll need to stretch the floor against the Bucks.
Our pick for the Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Clippers
The Milwaukee Bucks have a strong 14-12 record on the road, making them a good pick here. They're also only favored by five points, which shouldn't be too much for them to cover.
When taking into consideration all of the injuries dealt to the Clippers; this should be an easy one. In their last five games against Los Angeles, the Bucks have gone 4-1.
With that being said, we have to go with the Bucks, mainly due to injuries on the Clippers roster. Without players like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, their offense and defense will suffer. This will give the Bucks exactly what they need to pull off a victory and cover the spread.

Prop Pick
LA Clippers (-120) UNDER 111.5 Points
LA is averaging 106.2 points per game on offense, which ranks No. 25 in the league. Milwaukee is allowing 108.6 points per game on defense, which ranks No. 15. Scores have gone UNDER in each of the Bucks’ last six road games versus teams with a winning home record (the Clippers are 16-12 at home).
With Dunkel predicting a Milwaukee win by the score of 115-107, take the Clippers (-120) to finish UNDER their Vegas team total of 111.5 points against the Bucks.
