There is a pretty good slate of NBA games set to take place on Friday night, and that includes a terrific matchup in Dallas. The Mavericks will host the Milwaukee Bucks, and this game will feature two teams that believe they can win a title.
Milwaukee has had a great start to the season, but they might be playing their best basketball coming into this game. The Bucks are 18-6 overall on the year, and they have rattled off three straight wins.
Dallas is also playing great basketball of late, as they currently have a three-game winning streak over some impressive opponents. The Mavericks are just 13-11 on the year, but their best brand of basketball is as good as anyone in the league.

Bucks Slowing it Down
The Milwaukee Bucks are known for being one of the most explosive teams in the NBA, but that just hasn’t been the case of late. Instead, Milwaukee has been winning games with defense during this winning streak, as they have held three straight opponents to 113 points or less.
The offense for the Bucks will always be there, though, and it’s Giannis Antetokounmpo that is leading the way yet again. Antetokounmpo is scoring over 32 points per game, and he presents a matchup problem for every team in the league.
Milwaukee will need to give their superstar some support in this game, and that’s sometimes easier said than done.
Mavericks Making Shots
If the Dallas Mavericks are going to continue on this win streak, then it will be up to the offense to deliver. Dallas is scoring just 111.7 points per game this season, but they are capable of being much better on the offensive end of the floor.
Luka Doncic has done his part all season long, as he leads the team with 32.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game. Dallas is shooting better than 36 percent from deep as a team, and they have the ability to light it up at times.
The Mavericks aren’t a team that has a true answer for Antetokounmpo, and they will have to throw some extra defenders his way.
Mavericks Get Past Milwaukee
Both the Bucks and Mavericks are led by a superstar, and each player will be trying to take control of this game. Milwaukee will be trying to dominate this game in the paint, while Dallas will be attempting to make a bunch of shots from deep.
There just won’t be a ton of separation for the entire 48 minutes in this game, and each team will be trading off hitting big shots. In the end, it will be Luka Doncic that takes control of this one in the fourth quarter, and the Bucks just won’t have an answer.
