Miami Heat at Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview
11 November 2021

It's an Eastern Conference versus Western Conference battle between familiar foes. The 7-4 Miami Heat head out to Los Angeles to face the 6-4 Clippers.
Not only do these teams have similar records, but they also have similar playstyles. The question is, which one of them will come out on top Thursday night? More importantly, who is a better pick at the sportsbook?
The Miami Heat come off of two straight losses, while the Clippers have quite the win streak going. The Miami Heat will hope to snap the Clippers' win streak and begin one of their own.
However, this will be much easier said than done, as Paul George is playing his best basketball. Can the Heat on the road take down the Clippers? Or will the home team reign supreme?
Miami Heat: Two losses dropped Miami's standing in the East
The last two games have been tough on the Miami Heat. They desperately needed those wins against the Nuggets and Lakers. However, they lost them, and now they find themselves at the number five spot in the Eastern Conference.
To be fair, it's way too early to start thinking about positioning. The Miami Heat still have tons of time to take over the top spot.
On Thursday, they go up against another great Western Conference team. Beating the Clippers is tough, as nobody has been able to do it in the last five games. It'll be up to the Heat to find a way to stop Paul George, one of the league's leading scorers.
If they can't stop George, the Miami Heat will be in for a very long night against the Clippers' offense.
LA Clippers: Los Angeles plans to put some ice on the Heat
As the Clippers prepare to host the Heat, one thing really sticks out to us. Over the last ten games, the Clippers have gone 7-3 against the Heat. In their last three meetings, the Clippers have gone 3-0.
It's clear that the Clippers have the Heat's number, not to mention, the Clippers are playing at home. When playing at home, the Clippers have gone 4-2 so far this season.
Paul George not only leads the team in points per game but assists per game as well. He's found a way, in Kawhi's absence, to be a leader of this team and carry them to victory. Sure, they only have a 6-4 record, but they've also won five straight games.
One of these games was against the Charlotte Hornets, a tough Eastern Conference team.
Our pick for the Miami Heat versus Los Angeles Clippers
Having to choose between these teams is tough as each of them is a solid team. However, the Clippers are on a roll and show no signs of slowing down. Sometimes, you've got to ride the hot hand, and Los Angeles is only favored by 2.5-points.
The Clippers are 6-4 ATS this year and 4-2 when playing at home. They also have an incredible record against the Miami Heat, so we'll have to take the Clippers here.
