Track: Pocono Raceway
Betting Overview
Pocono Raceway is in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, and features the 2.5-mile track nicknamed the "Tricky Triangle." There are only three turns to make here instead of four, meaning drivers will need to be paying attention and not rely on muscle memory or routine.
Drivers that have great success here have figured this track out early. Others that have struggled might be easier to pass here.
Head to Head Matchup to Watch
The two best drivers, according to the Cup Series rankings, go head to head once again in this weekend's race. Chase Elliott (197.885) and Ross Chastain (204.078) are ranked one and two, respectively.
Elliot is coming off of a second-place finish at the Ambettor 301, with Chastain coming in eighth. Elliot has another opportunity to push ahead in the rankings.

Drivers That Could Win
Denny Hamlin (205.854) is about as interesting of a puck as they come. He is currently eighth in ranking and is coming off of a sixth-place finish at the Ambettor 301.
He has two wins on the season and has won here on six occasions. He has an excellent opportunity to bump up his rank.
Kyle Larson (206.279) has had an up and down season in his defense of his Cup Series title. There are only a handful of races left for him to make an attempt to climb the rankings.
At some point, he needs to wake up and take control of the situation. He has never won here but maybe has some positive momentum coming from two top-four finishes last month.
Potential Winning Pick
All eyes will be on Chase Elliott (197.885) to see if he can pull off another victory. He recently won the Ally 400, came in second at Road America, won the Quaker State 400, and came in second at Ambettor 301.
With Elliot's latest momentum, he is on fire right now. While his track history here is not the greatest, he has all of that momentum on his side.
Prop Pick
Head-To-Head Matchup: Kurt Busch (-120) OVER Tyler Reddick
It’s been a rollercoaster for Busch this year with the last few weeks being another dip. But the No. 45 car did take 2nd at Nashville last month and won at Kansas earlier this year. He’s also a three-time winner at Pocono. Busch ranks No. 8 in Quality Passes (1163) and No. 15 in Average Finish (16.9).
Reddick had a big win at Road America, but has been unable to sustain the momentum while finishing 29th and 21st at Atlanta and New Hampshire, respectively. And Pocono hasn’t been a great venue for the No. 8 car with an average finish of 21.25 in four races. Reddick ranks No. 18 in Quality Passes (876) and No. 22 in Average Finish (18.1).
With Busch rated No. 9 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Reddick No. 11, both drivers will be looking for improvement this weekend, but take Busch (-120) to have the better day at Pocono.
