There haven't been many bumps in the road for Tom Izzo's Michigan State Spartans as they've started started the season 12-o for the first time since the 2000-2001 team. But a knee injury to star Denzel Valentine is expected to keep him out of the lineup for the next two to three weeks. The Spartans will surely miss his team-high 18.5 points per game and 8.3 rebounds as well as his senior leadership. How Michigan State copes with his loss will begin tonight as the Spartans face the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in The Palace of Auburn Hills.
