Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints Betting Preview
18 November 2022

The Los Angeles Rams only have a limited amount of time to turn their season around. We're already in Week 11, and they have a record of 3-6 this season.
Their game this weekend won't be easy either, as they face the New Orleans Saints. The Saints might not look like it, but they're actually the favorites to win. The Rams come into this game as +3 underdogs.
The New Orleans Saints have a record of 3-7 this season and are 2-4 at home. This is an interesting matchup for them, especially since they're dealing with several injuries.
The Rams are also expecting Matthew Stafford to be back under center. If he plays, that will give the Saints one more thing to worry about this weekend.
Los Angeles Rams: How can the Rams right the ship?
The Los Angeles Rams have taken a big step back from how strong they were last season. This year, they're averaging 16.4 points per game, ranking 29th in the NFL.
Aside from the limited number of points they score, they also average just 68.1 rushing yards per game. They rank last in the NFL in this category and could be a big reason why they've been losing.
Another thing to take note of is the fact that they're allowing 22.2 points per game. Giving up nearly six points more than you're scoring is a huge problem.
Last week, the Arizona Cardinals beat them 27-17. To be fair, Matthew Stafford wasn't under center but would that have made much of a difference? At this point in the season, we can't be sure it would've.
New Orleans Saints: Saints will stick with Andy Dalton
After mulling over who to start at quarterback, the Saints are sticking with Andy Dalton. Dalton hasn't played well, exactly, but he's the best person for the job right now.
This season, the Saints rank ninth in passing yards per game at 237.7. They also rank 15th in rushing yards per game at 120.7. Now, if they can turn these stats into wins, they'd be in really good shape.
The problem is, that's far easier said than done, especially against the Rams. With players like Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey to worry about, winning won't be easy.
The Saints' defense also allows 24.7 points per game, which doesn't help. Their most recent game was a 20-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Prior to that, they lost 27-13 to the Baltimore Ravens.
Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints Betting Pick
Although the New Orleans Saints put up more points per game, they're not our pick. Last week, they couldn't find a way to take down the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Stafford under center for the Rams, the better pick is Los Angeles.
The Rams have a tough defense that can get after Andy Dalton early. By putting pressure on Dalton, they should be able to force a few turnovers as well. Go with the Los Angeles Rams on the road at +3, and we'd recommend taking the under too.
