Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers Betting Preview
26 November 2021

>— Sunday, November 28th Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers
Depending on how the rest of the season plays out, we could be seeing a preview of the NFC Championship. The Los Angeles Rams head out to Wisconsin to take on the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.
Los Angeles is on a two-game losing streak and is in desperate need of a win. The last thing they want to do is let the San Francisco 49ers swoop in and steal the division.
The Green Bay Packers come in at 8-3 and are the second-place team in the NFC. If they keep winning, there's a good chance they'll get a first-round bye. However, they're coming off a huge division loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Being fair to the Packers, though, they had a lot of players on the sideline with injuries. This week, they have to deal with those same injuries and more.
The LA Rams are slowly letting their season slip away
You might think that the Rams should be comfortable, considering they're 7-3. However, two of those three losses have come in the past two weeks.
It seems that even the signing of Odell Beckham Jr. hasn't helped out their offense too much. It also won't help that they're facing the Green Bay Packers defense on Sunday. A defense that allows just 19.5 points per game.
To get a win over the Packers, the Rams need to follow the format Minnesota did. Hit them hard early in the game with scoring and force them to beat you through the air.
If you play too conservative with Green Bay, they'll run away with a victory. If you force them into a shootout, you might be able to land some turnovers. If you do get a turnover, scoring off of it is mandatory.
An injured Packers team can be just as lethal as a healthy one
Some were underestimating how the Packers would perform against the Vikings. All of the injuries piled up made it seem like they wouldn't be able to hold their own.
However, the Packers did just fine even with the narrow loss. This week, they're facing a much less potent offense than the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers also get the benefit of being back at home this week.
Green Bay hasn't lost a single game at home this season, going 4-0 this year. Aaron Rodgers is likely to play this week, and the toe doesn't seem to bother him much.
The main key isn't the Packers' offense, though; it's their defense. More importantly, how familiar this defense and coaching staff is with Matthew Stafford. A quarterback they've faced countless times before.
Our Pick for the LA Rams at the Green Bay Packers
The Rams have gone 4-6 against the spread this season and 2-3 ATS on the road. This doesn't give us a lot of confidence in taking them here.
There's also the trouble with their lackluster offense and that they're playing in Green Bay. With all of those factors added in, we have to take the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are favored by very little in this game which works perfectly for us. Covering the 1.5-point spread should be no trouble for a team that's 9-2 ATS.
They also have an incredible home record against the spread at 4-0. Even with the injuries, the Green Bay Packers are the best pick at the sportsbook on Sunday.
