Walker Buehler is set to start for the Dodgers on Sunday night, and he has arguably been the best player in baseball this season. Buehler comes into this game with a 13-2 record to go along with an impressive 2.05 ERA.

The Dodgers have a deep and talented bullpen as well, and they are going to be hard to deal with if they get an early lead. It is this pitching staff that could allow the Dodgers to repeat as World Series champions.

Max Muncy leads the team with 30 home runs and 78 RBIs, but he has gotten plenty of help. The addition of Trea Turner gives this lineup some thunder at the top.

The Giants have blasted 201 home runs this season, and that is the fastest they have gotten to this mark in franchise history. San Francisco doesn’t have any one player carrying the team, but they can always strike with some offense.

This season, Brandon Crawford has been the best offensive player for the Giants, leading the team with 75 RBIs and a .290 batting average. The offense has been quiet a bit of late, and they now have to deal with Buehler in this matchup. 

The Giants have not named a starting pitcher for Sunday night, and that could be a problem. This pitching staff has been dominant all season long, and they will need to slow down Los Angeles in this matchup. 

Giants Earn Impressive Win

This has been a highly competitive series all weekend long, and that same thing should occur on Sunday night. These teams are going to battle for first place until the final days of the season, and both will be tough to beat in the playoffs.
