Los Angeles Clippers at Dallas Mavericks Betting Preview

LA came into this series as the number four seed in the West, which gave them a home-court advantage over Dallas. The Clippers have gone 0-3 on their home floor against Dallas but have won their only two road games of the playoffs.
Dallas is the number five seed in the Western Conference, but this team does have plenty of recent playoff experience. The Mavericks could have a shot to reach the NBA Finals if they can find a way to get past the Clippers.
The LA Clippers are 2.5-point favorites over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 6 of this playoff series.
Clippers Need More Scoring
The LA Clippers averaged 114 points per game during the regular season, but they have not been scoring as well in the playoffs. LA is going to need more production from its bench if they will avoid elimination by picking up a win in Game 6.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have combined for 55 points per game so far in this series, but those have been the only two reliable scorers. The Clippers are shooting 37 percent from the three-point line, and it will take another hot shooting game to keep the season alive.
The Clippers also need to find a way to stop Luka Doncic, and it might be time for Leonard to take his turn guarding the young star.
Doncic Delivering For Mavericks
Doncic is averaging 35 points, 9.4 assists, and eight rebounds per game in this series, and the Clippers have no answer for him. Even a neck injury hasn’t kept Doncin from taking complete control in this matchup, and he can improve his legacy with a signature Game 6 performance.
Three-point shooting has helped the Mavericks in this series, as well as Dallas is shooting better than 42 percent from deep. The Clippers will attempt to take this offense away from the Mavericks, and they might need to search for some interior scoring.
The Mavericks do sometimes lose their composure on the floor, and that can’t happen as they look to close out the series.
Mavs Move on to Second Round
The Dallas Mavericks are not scared of the LA Clippers, and they will come out ready to play in this game. Dallas will have to find more scoring options on Friday night as the Clippers will focus on stopping Doncic.
The Clippers just continue to struggle when things tighten up in the playoffs, and they aren’t providing Leonard with enough help. LA will play with plenty of desperation in this game, but that doesn’t mean they will make more shots.
