Houston comes into this game with an overall record of 18-16 and are in second place in the crowded AL West. The Astros got off to a slow start to the season, but they have gone 5-4 in the last nine games.
Houston is a slight betting favorite on the money line in this matchup.
Pitching Letting Down Angels
If the Los Angeles Angels are going to climb out of the last place in the AL West, then they are going to have to find some more pitching. The Angels currently have a team ERA of 5.12, and they have gotten just nine quality starts all season long.
The Angels don’t have a starter lined up to take the mound on Monday night, and Joe Maddon will likely be trying to get through this game with a number of different pitchers.

Los Angeles is running out of pitching, and that’s never a good sign when getting ready to play the Astros. The Angels do have the ability to score some runs, but they won’t be able to outscore Houston very often.
