It's been a bumpy start for the Tigers' closer, Francisco Rodriguez (a.k.a. K-Rod). With a fastball that's down below 90 mph, he's been very hittable in the early going as evidenced by last night's ninth-inning meltdown in an 8-7 loss to the Rays. Overall, K-Rod has blown two saves while allowing 10 hits and two HRs in just 6 2/3 innings. Detroit will see if it can regroup from the latest bump as the Tigers finish up the series with the Rays in an afternoon matinee.
