The Washington Capitals took the first game in the rematch of last year's Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights when the two teams met in DC back in October. That was part of a 1-4 start for the Golden Knights, but since that time have looked more like the team that won the Western Conference during their first year in the league. In the NBA, the San Antonio Spurs (11-12) are still trying to figure out life without Kawhi Leonard and are hoping that Sunday's 131-118 win over Portland is a sign of good things to come.
