The Sacramento Kings finally parted ways with disgruntled star DeMarcus Cousins and got a slew of players in return from the New Orleans Pelicans, including Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Gallaway and two draft picks. Kings GM Vlade Divac has said that if the trade doesn't eventually turn the team around, he will step down. The early verdict is not too promising as the Kings have dropped two of their first three without Cousins and hasn't scored 90 points in either of the two losses. Sacramento will see if it can correct that tonight as they host the Eastern Conference bottom-dweller Brooklyn Nets.
