Kansas Jayhawks at Tennessee Volunteers Betting Preview

Kansas comes into this game with an overall record of 11-5, but three of those losses have come in their last four games. The Jayhawks still have the potential to make a deep run in March, but this team is looking for a big win.

Tennessee is 11-3 so far this season, but they have also struggled a bit as of late. The Volunteers are hoping that a win in this game can propel them to a big final month of the season.

Three-point shooting has been a big problem for Kansas of late, even though they are shooting better than 36 percent from deep. This team also lacks a truly dominant big man that can get them easy buckets in the paint.

Guard Ochai Agbaji leads the team with 14.4 points per game, and he is just one of three players scoring at least 10 points per game. Forward Jalen Wilson has chipped in with 12.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, but the Jayhawks need more from him going forward.

Tennessee Has Plenty of Depth

Tennessee is averaging more than 72 points per game this season while holding teams to just 59 per night. The Volunteers don’t have a true star on this roster, but they do have plenty of depth and are an experienced team.

There are seven different players averaging at least 8.0 points per game, and no one is scoring more than 11.2 per game. Forward John Fulkerson leads the team in scoring, but most of the damage is done from the guards that are on the court.

Tennessee does shoot just 32 percent from the three-point line, and they will need to make some shots on Saturday evening if they are going to knock off the Jayhawks.

Volunteers Take Care of Business

This has not been a smooth season for the Kansas Jayhawks, and it is hard to see them going into Knoxville and knocking off the Volunteers. Kansas just does not have enough scoring weapons to threaten Tennessee, and finding offense will be a challenge in this matchup.

Tennessee knows that this is a game that they need to win, and they will be ready to take on one of the blue-bloods of college basketball. This is one of the best games of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, and Tennessee will pick up a big win for the conference.
