The New York Jets surprised people early on by winning three of their first five games and jumping ahead of New England by 14 points in their matchup. But the Jets ended up losing that game and dropped contests to Miami and Atlanta after that. Todd Bowles club now sits at 3-5 and in desperate need of a win tonight as New York hosts the Buffalo Bills to kick off Week 9.
