Jaw Dropping

13 August 2015

If the New York Jets were going to bounce back from last year's disappointing 4-12 record, they were hoping to do it behind the improved play of QB Geno Smith. But Smith's broken jaw earlier this week from a punch from his own teammate has him sidelined for an estimated 6-10 weeks. That leaves new coach Todd Bowles with journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick as his likely starter at QB heading into the season. The new look Jets will make their first appearance of the preseason tonight as they travel to Detroit to face the Lions.
