After making the playoffs last season and sporting one of the NHL's young stars in John Tavares, this was supposed to be a banner season for the New York Islanders. But a 15-16-8 record has put them dead last in the Eastern Conference and left coach Jack Capuano threatening changes to the lineup. Whether that will light a fire under the Islanders or not will be on display tonight as they travel to Florida to face the Panthers.
