Things got so bad for the Oakland A's last night in their 14-1 loss at the hands of the Angels that they ended up having to pitch first baseman Ike Davis in relief. Davis, who happens to be the son of former MLB reliever Ron Davis, did throw a perfect inning on just nine pitches, giving the A's a rare bright spot. Tonight, the two teams will be back at it again with more conventional pitchers Sonny Gray (1-0, 2.11) and Jered Weaver (0-2, 6.61) taking the mound.
