With the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers set to play their preseason contest tonight, it's hard not to think of Dwight Clark and "The Catch" from their 1982 NFC Championship game. Appropriately, the 49ers announced yesterday that they would honor Clark -- who died in June after a battle with ALS -- with a decal on their helmets and a statue in front of Levi' Stadium. The statue will be exactly 23 yards apart from a statue of Joe Montana, the same distance of their famous touchdown connection.
