Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre gets visibly annoyed when anyone touches his head. But as he nears the 3,000 hit mark, he can probably expect a few pats on the noggin when he reaches the milestone. Last night, Beltre picked up a pair of two-run singles to get to 2,998 hits on his career while leading the Rangers to a much-needed 8-2 win over the Orioles.
