The NLDS series between the Cubs and Nationals has been marked by a pair of aching hamstrings. Yesterday, Nats ace Max Scherzer overcame his hamstring injury to toss 6 1/3 hitless innings, but it wasn't enough as the Cubs eventually won, 2-1, to take a 2-1 series lead. With the chance to advance to their third straight NLCS on the line today, Chicago will hope that Jake Arrieta can overcome his recent hamstring injury as he takes the mound against Washington's Tanner Roark.
