The battle for the NL East is expected to come down to the Nationals and the Mets, so any time the two teams meet it should be big, even this early in the season. But the Mets look as if they will be short-handed after Yoenis Cespedes left Thursday's game against the Phillies with an apparent pulled hamstring. The void created by Cespedes' absence in the lineup -- especially his 6 HRs and 10 RBI -- will be tough for Terry Collins to fill as the Mets begin a three-game set with the Nats tonight at Citi Field.
