The Washington Nationals have been beset by injuries this season, causing a team that many picked to win it all to post a very pedestrian 34-33 record so far. The latest injury may be the scariest as Bryce Harper crumpled in the outfield last night after making a throw. The initial diagnosis is a hamstring strain and Harper is to be reevaluated today. But taking his numbers (.344, 22 HRs, 53 RBI) out of an already struggling Nats offense would be a real blow. Washington tries to regroup tonight as they play host to the Pirates.
