Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview
19 December 2021

>— Sunday, December 19th Green Bay Packers @ Baltimore Ravens
The Green Bay Packers are well on their way to clinching the NFC North and a playoff spot. Standing in their way currently is the Baltimore Ravens; however, the Ravens have a big problem.
They could be missing Lamar Jackson on Sunday, which definitely hurts their chances. With the Packers needing just one game to clinch the division, can they claim it here?
The Baltimore Ravens are searching for their first win in December this week. It's been a tough month for the Baltimore Ravens, and Lamar Jackson got injured at the wrong time.
They definitely need his help if they want to beat the Packers and stop the losing streak. Even worse, their last two losses were to teams in the AFC North, their own division. So, who's the best bet?
Green Bay Packers: Rodgers "probable" for Sunday's matchup
For those that were wondering if Aaron Rodgers would play on Sunday, chances are he will. It makes sense as well, considering this will be a great chance for them to clinch the division.
If Lamar Jackson is missing from the Ravens lineup, this game will be pretty easy for the Packers. They'll just need to do what they can on offense to capitalize at every opportunity.
Green Bay has the No.14 scoring offense in the NFL, but their defense is sneakily good. On average, the Packers defense only allows 20.9 points per game, 6th in the NFL.
If Lamar Jackson is sidelined, we imagine the Packers' defense will look even better. They have an incredible pass rush and should be able to secure a few sacks, perhaps turnovers as well.
Baltimore Ravens: Can they win a game without Lamar Jackson?
The Ravens are in a really tough spot because they can't do much without Lamar Jackson. Jackson is integral to the success of the offense, and we've seen that in the last few games.
They have yet to win a game in December during the most vital time of the season. With him out, the Ravens beating the Green Bay Packers is a long shot; however, there's a chance.
The idea for the Ravens to win this game is that they'll have to control the time of possession. If they can keep the Packers' offense off the field, they'll have a shot.
They'll also need their defense to have incredible performance and shut down Davante Adams. Unfortunately, their best cornerbacks have been out for some time, making this an incredibly hard task to complete.
Our pick for the Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens
With the Baltimore Ravens being so decimated on offense and defense, this one is a no-brainer. The Packers would likely be the favorite even if the Ravens were at full-strength.
Through the last ten games, the Packers have gone 9-1 against the spread. They come into this game as just 7-point favorites, giving us a ton of confidence in them.
There are a ton of variables that go into picking the Ravens and very little for the Packers. The best route to go when betting is taking the more consistent team with fewer questions. That being said, we'll take the Green Bay Packers here -7 and the over.
