The victory kept Seattle (No. 12 in the Dunkel Index) two games behind the O's with just four to play heading into the Mariners' final regular season series tonight against Oakland (No. 24 in the Index). The A's, looking to play the spoiler role, will send Kendall Graveman (10-11, 4.19) to the mound against the M's Ariel Miranda (5-2, 4.10).
