Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets Betting Preview/Prop Picks
24 April 2022

It's Game 4 of the Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets series. The Warriors currently lead the series 3-0, putting the Nuggets on the verge of elimination. Since they're back at full strength, it's no surprise they come in as the favorites today.
However, can they put the nail in the coffin of the Nuggets? Or could they slip up and allow the Nuggets to continue on?
The Denver Nuggets' postseason hasn't gone according to plan. After losing the first three games of the series, they'll need to win four straight to advance.
Taking on the Warriors is no easy feat, and the Nuggets are beginning to realize that. Denver will need a big game from Jokic tonight and the rest of the Nuggets as well. So, let's look at both teams and make our pick.
Golden State Warriors: Curry is back and leading his team
The Warriors were able to stave off the onslaught of the Nuggets a few nights ago. In Game 3, Denver came out swinging, but the Warriors rallied and won the game 118-113.
They were led by Stephen Curry, who put up 27 points of his own. Jordan Poole also had himself quite the night, scoring 27 points as well. By the end, the Nuggets had no answer for the Warriors.
Tonight, the Warriors will likely look to do the same, score early and often. Something that's interesting is that the lineup could have Curry coming off of the bench.
The reason why this is great is because of matchups, plus Jordan Poole is playing fantastically. The Warriors are also a great team on the road, going 23-19 during the season.
Denver Nuggets: It's now or never for Jokic and the Nuggets
On the brink of elimination, the Nuggets have to win Game 4. To do this, they'll first need to find an answer for Jordan Poole. Poole has lit up the defense of the Nuggets, averaging 28.7 points per game this series.
If they can't find an answer for him, there's no chance they'll beat the Warriors. Now they have even more to worry about with Stephen Curry healthy.
It's a tough scenario for the Nuggets, but it's one they'll need to deal with. Jokic has essentially been a non-factor aside from Game 3. They nearly beat the Warriors but instead allowed them to rally back for a win.
So, with their season on the line, can they make a run to advance? Or will the Golden State Warriors win this one and bring the series to a close?
Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets Betting Pick
When looking at each of these teams, one stands out more than the other by a mile. The Warriors are playoff-ready, while the Nuggets are struggling to keep up. With players such as Jordan Poole averaging over 28 points per game, we have to take the Warriors.
The great news is Golden State only comes in as a 4.5-point favorite. Over their last ten games against the Nuggets, they're 7-3 against the spread. We'll also take the over in this game since five of the Warriors' last six have gone over.
