FCS Picks/Week 5

The undefeated Dartmouth Big Green head to Penn tonight to take on the Quakers in an Ivy League clash. Game time is 7:00 pm ET at Franklin Field.

The Big Green (2-0) opened the season with a 28-18 win over Valparaiso and followed that up last week with a 41-3 trouncing of Sacred Heart behind RB Nick Howard’s 154 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

The Quakers (1-1) dominated their opener on the road at Bucknell in a 30-6 victory, but struggled last week at Lafayette, 24-14, as the offense produced only 255 yards and committed 3 turnovers.

This will be the conference opener for both teams and Dunkel has Dartmouth pulling out the victory but failing to cover the Vegas line of 7. Defenses should dominate, keeping the final score under the Vegas total of 45 ½.
