Georgia plays its home-opener this afternoon between the hedges against FCS opponent Samford in a battle of Bulldogs. Kick off is 4:00 pm ET at Sanford Stadium.

Vegas has Georgia favored by 50.5 points with an over/under set at 65.5 points.

Georgia looked dominant in beating Oregon, 49-3, in Atlanta last Saturday. Stetson Bennett completed 25 of 31 passes for 368 yards and a pair of TDs, while the defense held the Ducks without a TD for this first time since 2017.

Samford provided one of the bigger FCS upsets in Week 1 with a 27-17 win over Kennesaw State. JUCO transfer Michael Hiers made his debut at QB and responded with 4 TD tosses and 289 yards passing.

Samford gave Florida all it could handle last year, scoring 42 first-half points before finally losing 70-52. Offense should also be paramount today with Dunkel predicting the final score going OVER the Vegas total while Georgia manages to cover the Vegas line.
