FCS Picks: Week 0

The Florida State Seminoles open up their 2022 college football season on Saturday with a home game against FCS opponent Duquesne. Kick off is 5:00 pm ET at Doak Campbell Stadium.

There’s little chance the Seminoles will be taking the Dukes lightly after suffering their first defeat against an FCS opponent last year when the ‘Noles fell to Jacksonville State. Duquesne is also coming off a respectable 7-3 campaign in 2021 that included a win over FBS Ohio.

FSU head coach Mike Norvell will be eager to get his third season off to a strong start after failing to post winning records in his first two years at the helm. He returns a good chunk of talent on both sides of the ball, including QB Jordan Travis, who threw for 15 TDs and led the ‘Noles to a 4-1 record as a starter.
