FCS Picks//Week 12

Montana State and Montana meet in the 120^th Brawl of the Wild this afternoon with first place in the Big Sky Conference on the line. Game time is 2:00 pm ET at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula.

Montana State (9-1, 7-0 in the Big Sky) comes in riding a nine-game winning streak that has the Bobcats tied with Sacramento State for first place in the conference. A win over the Griz will ensure them at least a tie for the conference championship for the first time since 2012.

While Montana (8-2, 5-2) is out of the running for the conference title, they are a virtual lock for an FCS playoff spot. The Griz have won their last four games, including back-to-back victories the last two weeks over Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona by a combined 65-3 margin.

The Bobcats have won the last four meetings between the two schools with the last coming in 2019 by a 48-14 margin. But Dunkel has Montana ending that winning streak this year in a tight defensive struggle that has the point total set at 38.
