FCS Picks/Week 9

The Princeton Tigers and Cornell Big Red kick off Week 9 of the FCS schedule tonight with an Ivy League contest. Game time is 7:00 pm ET at Schoellkopf Field.

Princeton (6-0, 3-0 in the Ivy) held on to first place in the conference and its perfect record with an 18-16 win after five OTs against Harvard last week. Conference officials subsequently came out and said officials were wrong to take a game-winning two-point score by Harvard off the boards after the third OT. But the victory stands and the Tigers will try to maintain their lead in the conference with a win at Cornell tonight.

The Big Red (1-5, 0-3) have yet to win in the conference following losses against Yale, Harvard and Brown. The most recent came last week against the Bears, 49-45, as Brown scored on a 30-yard pass play with just 29 seconds remaining to pull out the back-and-forth contest.
