FCS Picks/Thursday's Game

Week 12 of the FCS schedule kicks off tonight with a contest between the Southeastern Louisiana Lions and the Nicholls State Colonels. Game time is 7:00 pm ET at Strawberry Stadium.

SE Louisiana (8-2, 6-1 in the Southland Conference) is tied for first with Incarnate Word a top the Southland. The Lions bounced back nicely from a 55-52 loss to the Cardinals two weeks ago with a 56-28 win over Northwestern State last week.

Nicholls State (5-5, 4-3) had its three-game winning streak snapped last week with a 27-23 loss to Incarnate Word. The Colonels had beaten Houston Baptist, Northwestern State and McNeese State leading up to the loss.
