Familiar Ring

01 June 2018

Red Sox manager Alex Cora received his 2017 World Series ring last night after serving as the bench coach for the world-champion Houston Astros last season. Cora then watched a familiar sight as Lance McCullers Jr. and the Astros bullpen shut down his potent Boston lineup and took the series-opener, 4-2. It could be more of the same tonight as the Astros send Gerritt Cole (5-1, 2.05) to the mound against the Red Sox Chris Sale (5-2, 2.76). The NHL Stanley Cup will pick up on Saturday with the series between the Golden Knights and Capitals tied a 1-apiece and shifting to Washington for Game 3. To get the Index' pick, click HERE.

And Game 1 of the NBA Finals didn't disappoint as Cleveland and Golden State went to overtime before the Warriors prevailed, 124-114. Game 2 is Sunday at Golden State and you can get the Index' pick by clicking HERE.
