Much was expected of Rick Porcello when he was acquired by Boston from the Tigers for Yoenis Cespedes in 2015. But his first year in a Boston uniform was a bust as Porcello went just 9-15 with a 4.92 ERA despite signing a four-year,$82.5 million extension. This year has been different, though, as Porcello is in the thick of the Cy Young conversation while sporting a 16-3 record and 3.30 ERA. Tonight, he'll try to prove how far he's come as Porcello faces his former Tiger teammates in the second game of their series.
