The Washington Nationals have been on cruise control through the NL East so far this season, but experienced a little hiccup yesterday when it was reported that manager Dusty Baker was lobbying for a contract extension. While GM Mike Rizzo maintained the issue would not be a "distraction", the Nats didn't look as convincing on the field last night as they dropped a 5-2 decision to the Rangers.
