The Anaheim Ducks made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals last year, but looked like anything but a playoff contender out of the gate this season. Bruce Boudreau's team dug itself a deep hole with a 1-7-2 October that included four straight losses to open the season. The Ducks were considerably better in November (8-4-3) and open their December schedule tonight as they host the Tampa Bay Lightning.
