After a disastrous 2016 campaign that saw the Diamondbacks finish with a 69-93 record and 22 games back of the Dodgers in the NL West, Arizona is one of the more pleasant surprises early in the 2017 season. Torey Lovullo's club has started out 26-19 and is in the thick of the NL West race, trailing Colorado by only two games. One of the big reasons for the improvement is the return to form of ace pitcher Zack Greinke.
