The Rocket Mortgage Classic is still a very new tournament stop on the PGA Tour, but it didn’t take long for this event to become extremely popular. This event is held at the Detroit Golf Club, and it has been known to produce some very low scores every year.
We are just a few weeks removed from the U.S. Open, and some of the biggest names in the sport are looking to take a breather. The three biggest names in golf aren’t going to be in Detroit this weekend, but there are still some great players set to tee it up.

- Collin Morikawa +1400
This trio of betting favorites have all been playing some solid golf in 2023, and they will have a big following this weekend with the crowd. Tony Finau is the defending champion at this event as he shot -26 last year to get the job done.
Fowler led the U.S. Open for three rounds before fading down the stretch, and he is having a great year. Morikawa hasn’t been winning tournaments, but he’s a name that is always in the mix.

Players like Tom Kim and Cam Davis are going to be in the mix this weekend as well, but they don’t have the ability to score as low as Fowler. It might take -25 to win this event, and it’s going to be four great days of golf for one of the most popular players on tour.
