The New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins are both limping toward the playoffs. The Isles are 3-7-2 over their last 12 games, including a 5-4 loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday that saw the Flyers score the game-winner with 2.1 second left in regulation. The Penguins have been even worse with a 3-9-2 stretch over the last month, including a 4-3 overtime loss to Ottawa on Tuesday after Pittsburgh had jumped out to a 3-0 lead.
