Denver Nuggets at Miami Heat Game 4 Betting Preview

Game 4 of the NBA Finals is set to take place on Friday night, and this is a massive game for both of the teams. The Denver Nuggets are looking to take a 3-1 series lead over the Miami Heat by winning a second straight game on the road.
Denver entered the NBA Finals as big betting favorites to win the title, and they are now back in that position after Game 3. The Nuggets were able to take homecourt advantage back by putting up a dominant performance against the Heat in Miami.
The Heat are just the second number eight seed to reach the NBA Finals, and they have pulled off some massive upsets along the way. Miami was able to steal homecourt advantage with an impressive win in Game 2, but they have struggled in their two losses.
The Nuggets are 3.5-point betting favorites over the Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Dynamic Duo Leading Nuggets
Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray did something in Game 3 that had never been done before in NBA history. Jokic and Murray both had triple-doubles that included at least 30 points, and they simply took control of Game 3.
Jokic has been doing whatever he wants against the Heat all series long, and Murray has had a terrific postseason. As long as these two players continue to play well, then it will be nearly impossible for the Nuggets to lose.
Denver was also able to play much better on defense in the Game 3 win after being challenged by their head coach. The Nuggets were one of the best teams in the NBA for a reason.
Butler Needs Some Help
Jimmy Butler was finally able to get things going in Game 3 for the Miami Heat, but then he didn’t get any help from his teammates. Butler poured in 28 points in the Game 3 loss, and he is going to have to be even more aggressive in Game 4 of the series.
Miami shot just 11-for-35 from deep in the Game 3 loss, and that is something that has to improve if they want to keep their season alive. The Heat have plenty of capable shooters on the roster, but they are also facing a great defense.
The defense for Miami has to change as well, as they are letting Nikola Jokic do way too much against them. Don’t be surprised to see a new defensive scheme used by Miami on Friday night.
Nuggets Roll to 3-1 Series Lead
You should expect a much closer game in the first half of Game 4, as the Heat just weren’t very competitive in Game 3. Miami will get a solid performance from Jimmy Butler, but this team just doesn’t have an answer on the defensive end.
Nikola Jokic continues to do whatever he wants for the Nuggets, and the rest of the supporting cast is stepping up as well. The Nuggets are simply a better team than the Nuggets, and they will take control of this game.
Bet on the Nuggets -3.5 as they are able to pick up a double-digit win in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
