Watch on: FS1
Track: Circuit of the Americas
Betting Overview
The EchoPark Texas Grand Prix will be the first time that this race has been introduced to the Cup Series. In addition, it is also one of seven planned road courses on the year.
Head to Head Matchup to Watch
Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson (117.125)
make a great pair to watch. Busch (121.110) is arguably driving some of his best moments when it comes to natural road courses. In addition, he won the Busch Clash earlier this year at the Daytona road course.
Larson has been very solid on road courses but somehow seems to come up short in the end. This is a great opportunity for him and for you to earn a good return should he win.

Drivers That Could Win
Martin Truex Jr. (117.874) is not too far behind for both the betting favorite and the driver with the best Dunkel odds. He has been somewhat volatile in his performances this season. Even though he has three wins along with seven top-six finishes, he also has placed 19th or worse on four separate occasions where he was a favorite to win.
Denny Hamlin (119.416) will have a target on his back since he leads in points. He also returns to action after a seventh-place spot at Dover. Surprisingly with his recent positives, the betting market still does not want to go all-in on him just yet.
Potential Winning Pick
Chase Elliott is atop many betting markets as the favorite to win. Elliott has some momentum coming into this race with a recent third-place finish at Dover.
That finish was his third straight top-seven finish, where he continues to remain close to the top. In addition, this was also his fifth top 10 result when looking at his last six races.
Elliot is still searching for his first win on the season, and this is another race where he appears to be in good shape. As the 2020 Cup Series winner, he is bound to land a victory at some point, and the race at the Circuit of Americas is another great opportunity.
Prop Bet
Best Finishing Position: William Byron (-115) Over Alex Bowman
After entering this season with just two career wins under hit belt, Bowman picked up his second win of the season last weekend at Dover.
Finishing first among a record Top 4 for Hendrick Motorsports, Bowman seems to impress with each passing week since replacing seven-time champ Jimmie Johnson in the No. 48 car. He has three Top 5 finishes in 13 races and added another win at Richmond – the first for HMS.
One of the other HMS drivers to finish in the Top 4 at Dover was Byron, who finished 4th. While that kept him in the shadows of Bowman, it continued a run of consecutive Top 10 finishes that has now reached 11, the longest such streak since Jeff Gordon in 2007.
Dover also marked Byron’s fourth Top 5 finish in the last six races after having only one Top 5 in the first seven races. The No. 24 car also ranks in the Top 5 in average running position (3rd), average driver rating (4th), quality passes (5th), and fastest laps run (4th).
Rated No. 3 in the Dunkel Index, we’ll take Byron (-115) and his consistency to finish ahead of No. 8-rated Bowman at Sunday’s COTA.
