The Seattle Mariners made a big splash in the off-season by signing Nelson Cruz off a 40-HR season last year in Baltimore. Adding Cruz should give Seattle some offensive pop to go with a solid pitching staff led by Felix Hernandez. That combo was good for a 4-1 win in the season-opener yesterday against the Angels.
