The Yankees have seen a lot of transition over the last few years, but one of the few constants has been the presence of outfielder Brett Gardner. Now in his 10th season with the Bronx Bombers, Gardner delivered one of his biggest hits yesterday as he pulled a 2-2 slider from Hector Rondon with two outs in the 9th over the wall for a three-run HR to deliver a 3-2 victory over the Cubs. The win keeps the Yanks a 1/2-game up on the Orioles in the AL East as they take on the Cubs again tonight at Wrigley Field.
