Colorado Avalanche at St. Louis Blues Betting Preview/Prop Picks

The Avalanche have taken back control of the series after suffering a loss in Game 2. Colorado continues to be the betting favorites to win the Stanley Cup, and they can take a big lead in this series with a win. 

St. Louis is a recent Stanley Cup champion, and they are always a difficult team to eliminate in the playoffs. The Blues upset the Minnesota Wild in the First Round, but they are in for a rough battle against the Colorado Avalanche.

St. Louis has to do something to take some pressure off of Husso, and they have to be better on offense. The Blues are scoring 3.33 goals per game in the postseason, but they need to be even better in this series.

Ryan O’Reilly has been a star for the Blues as he leads the team with 12 points in the playoffs. St. Louis is always a great team on the power play, and that unit will need to provide a spark as well.

Avalanche Roll Over Blues

The injury to Binnington is going to cause some serious issues for the St. Louis Blues, and it’s an issue that the Avalanche will take advantage of. St. Louis has done a decent job of slowing down Colorado up to this point, but that won’t be the case on Monday night.

Colorado just has so many weapons on the offensive end of the ice, and they will find a way to get this game to be played at a fast pace. The St. Louis Blues just don’t have enough offense to keep up with the Avalanche, and this game could get out of hand.
