Betting Overview
A huge shift in the Cup Series top five rankings is Kyle Larson. Larson has been up and down all season but won the Bowling at the Glen race last weekend to move up to second place in the rankings.
Many drivers are seeing the benefits of remaining consistent and waiting for their opportunities to take over. This will be another pivotal race leading into the playoffs.
Head to Head Matchup to Watch
Chase Elliott (209.006) and Kyle Larson (214.414) are where your attention needs to be. Elliot is the current Cup Series leader, while Larson is closing in.
Larson just won the Glen race, while Elliot came in fourth. If you want consistency and someone that has been dominant for the latter half of the season, you cannot go wrong with Elliot.

Drivers That Could Win
Ryan Blaney (219.213) has yet to record a victory this season but remains in third place in the Cup Series rankings. He won last year at Daytona’s summer race and had two victories at Talladega leading up to that. Six out of his last seven races at Daytona have been inside the top six, meaning he loves this track.
Denny Hamlin (214.951) is currently 14th in the Cup Series rankings and has been at slight risk of losing his position to continue in the playoffs most of the season. However, he is a great driver on superspeedway tracks.
He has won the Daytona 500 in the last three out of seven years, with two of these coming in the last four. The only one he has not won is the summer race, which he has a perfect shot of doing so.
Potential Winning Pick
Chase Elliott (209.006) is the man to beat, with his current position in the rankings and consistency. He was a runner-up in the 2019 Coke Zero 400, runner-up 2020 Daytona 500, and eighth in last season’s Coke Zero 400.
Prop Picks
Top 10 Finish: Christopher Bell (-110)
Bell picked up his second Cup Series victory at New Hampshire this season and came close to picking up another at Richmond where he finished 2nd. The No. 20 car is coming off an 8th place finish at Watkins Glen. Bell ranks No. 7 in Average Position (12.8).
With Bell rated No. 3 in this week’s Dunkel Index, take the No. 20 car (-110) to stay in the hunt this weekend at Daytona.
Head-To-Head Matchup: Martin Truex Jr. (-115) OVER Tyler Reddick
While Truex has yet to win this season, the No. 19 car remains consistently near the front with four Top 10 finishes in his last six races. He has three 2nd place finishes at Daytona under his belt. Truex ranks No. 5 in Average Position (12.1).
Reddick is a two-time winner this season, but has also had his stumbles, including finishing 35th at this year’s Daytona 500. Reddick ranks No. 12 in Average Position (14.9).
With Truex rated No. 6 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Reddick at No. 7, take the No. 19 car (-115) to get the better of this matchup at Daytona.
