Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs Betting Preview/Prop Pick

By the end of Sunday night, the Super Bowl matchup will be set as it is conference championship weekend in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs host the Cincinnati Bengals in the first of two conference championship games, and this is a rematch of a thrilling regular-season game.

Cincinnati came out of nowhere this season to win the AFC North Division, and they have carried that momentum over in the postseason. The Bengals went into Tennessee in the Divisional Round and upset the Titans, and they have also beaten Kansas City this year.

Kansas City is back in the AFC Championship for the fourth year in a row, and all four of those games have been played at home. The Chiefs pulled off a thrilling 42-36 win over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, and they are looking for their third straight Super Bowl appearance.

The Kansas City Chiefs are seven-point betting favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. 

Bengals Need Burrow to Shine

If the Bengals are going to pull off this upset, then quarterback Joe Burrow is going to have to be a star. Burrow threw for over 4,600 yards during the regular season, and he has the talent to put his team on his back in this one.

Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has also had a monster season as he racked up over 1,400 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. The Chiefs will do all they can stop this connection, and the Bengals might have to look elsewhere for offense. 

The defense has allowed just 35 total points this postseason, but they are going to have to step up their play to stop the explosive Chiefs. 

Chiefs Crushing Teams With Offense

Kansas City has been one of the best offensive teams in the NFL for the last few seasons, and they are doing it again this year. The Chiefs have put up 42 points in each of the first two playoff games, and they have the ability to score points in a hurry.

Patrick Mahomes threw for over 4,800 yards during the regular season, and he has so many weapons at his disposal. Mahomes did throw 13 interceptions this year, but he has taken care of it better in the postseason.

The Chiefs have struggled to get stops so far in the postseason, but this defense has enough talent to turn things around. Getting pressure on Burrow will be a huge key for Kansas City.

Kansas City Crushes Cincinnati 

The Cincinnati Bengals have the ability to put up points in a hurry, but they are facing a Chiefs team that is simply more explosive. Cincinnati gave up 31 points in that regular-season win over Kansas City, and that could spell some trouble in this matchup. 

Kansas City has so much experience in the AFC Championship Game, and they always seem to find a way to come through and deliver. The Chiefs are coming into this game with a ton of momentum, and that offense is going to break this game wide open.
